The national newspaper "Israel Hayom" published an article on Tuesday the 2nd of March about the excellent schools in Israel in Chemistry and Biology.
The newspaper based its report on information from the ministry of education.
According to the report, NBS is positioned in the 3rd place nationally in Chemistry with an average of 95.68 %.
A girl's Jewish religious school from Tzapira came first with 97.9% and the Catholic school Notredam from Miyilia in the north came second with 97%.
The newspaper emphasized that 5 out of the 10 schools in both lists (for Chemistry and Biology) were from the religious Jewish sector.
It is worth noting that for the last 8 years NBS has been recieving an appreciation letter from ministry of education for it's distinguished results in Chemistry-in the top 5% in the country.
Our 2 Chemistry teachers are Eyad Hanna (Jacky) and Rula Moaki.
The late father of Eyad Hanna was the Physics teacher in NBS for long years.Eyad continues the legacy.
